Luxury winter chalet

About project

Yvette Taylor and her team transformed a stunning chalet in the winter resort of Verbier into an exclusive rental property for high-net-worth skiers. The client, an international investor, requested opulent interior design so guests would feel truly pampered during their stay.

Yvette Taylor London executed an interior design concept to complement the natural environment. We created the ultimate highly comfortable and stylish retreat with several open fireplaces to add atmosphere to this sumptuous winter chalet in the mountains. A carefully considered colour palette and choice of materials, combining textures from leather, fur, cashmere and fine wool are seen across the furniture, soft furnishings and accessories.

A beautiful welcoming and cozy interior has been achieved with special design touches. The entrance hall and glass staircase are illuminated with VG New Trend chandeliers and the walls and partitions are clad in natural wood for a traditional finish.

This unique chalet consists of five en-suite bedrooms, a spa area with Jacuzzi, a 14-metre swimming pool and state-of-the-art gym with Technogym equipment. There is also a professionally equipped cinema room with large plasma screen.

The new design has created palatial entertaining spaces. The dining room, furnished with a Christopher Guy dining table and chairs, seats 14. The bespoke kitchen with attached bar is made of stainless steel material with Gagennau appliances, created for use by private chefs.

There is a specially designed wine cellar with a unique Serrano Ham cutting machine so guests can enjoy wine tasting and small bites. There is also a disco area with bar on the lower ground floor and a spacious ground floor lounge, combining ivory and pale pink tones, which are applied to the cushions and footstools. This luxurious interior design project is characterized by a combination of cutting-edge technologies with the finest materials, products and furnishings.
