The client appointed Yvette Taylor London to provide luxurious interior design and soft furnishing services for his Princess 72 yacht. The aim was to replace the previous scheme of dark blue and grey tones, by introducing lighter colours to illuminate the internal spaces.
As senior interior designer, Yvette Taylor reimagined the open space of the salon, selecting sumptuous scatter cushions with silvery and cream tones, using Carlucci and JAB fabrics to keep in harmony with the original dove grey upholstery of the leather corner sofa. Decorative pieces for the dining table were selected from the Italian Marioni collection.
The master suite is decorated with Alhambra fabrics, in ivory and cream tones, which make a striking contrast to chocolate brown velvet cushions with decorative buttons and piping.
The second double bedroom is decorated with Manuel Canovas fabrics, in golden beige hues, combined with a bedspread with circular patterning and large scatter cushions in velvety stripes. The twin bedroom was kept simple with an ivory, beige and grey colour scheme. The towels are by Abyss Habidecor. The result is a bright and contemporary finish, with a high-end interior design specification, creating the ultimate 21st Century luxury yacht.
