Exquisite villa

About project

PRIVATE VILLA MILAN

A great passion pervades the owners of this important private villa in Milan: the contemporary art and the refined style. A real and not mannerist passion which stimulated Igor Rebosio the search of an interior design with a completely new language, outside the traditional ways of expression. So materials, forms and details outline a new form of contemporary eclecticism, the result of the complex combination of different elements, but united by a single vision thanks to uniform treatment of shiny and iridescent surfaces, and brown, gray, bronze and cream colors.

The unique architectural design of the private villa – which develops radially around a central circular staircase – considers an organization of functions on three floors. In the basement, a private living room that releases a spa area (sauna and turkish bath), gym and indoor pool; on the ground floor, the main living room with dining area and kitchen, a guest bedroom and the large main room that includes a bath and a walk-in closet; on the first floor, the two secondary rooms with its own bathroom and a living room overlooking the main living below.

The large living room of the ground floor is the heart of the house, overlooking the garden with a curved glass, and is flooded by a natural light. The multifaceted design of the consoles, the reflective and iridescent surfaces, the bronzed mirrors, multiply and accelerate the light reflections.

In the study of the interior design, Rebosio+Spagnulo gives great attention to the comfort and the search for personal wellness. In this prospect, the private spaces like bathrooms and walk-in closets – considered as corners of service in the past – benefit from the best attention. Their nature changes, becoming inherently more important and valuable. The bathrooms tend to be small spa and the walk-in closets to small boutiques: todays, in these areas, the personal wellness is manifested in complete instances.
These aspects take shape in the refinement of materials and details: floors in wenge and glass, backlit inserts, drawers in satin nickel, doors with bronzed glass and a copper mesh inside, pigeonhole of
marbles.
